Account Setup

Complete guide to setting up your CloudAct account

This guide provides detailed instructions for creating and configuring your CloudAct account.

Before You Begin

Before creating your account, have the following ready:

  • Work email address - This will be your login credential
  • Phone number - For account verification and security
  • Company information - Name, type, and preferred settings

Creating Your Account

Step 1: Navigate to Signup

Go to cloudact.ai/signup to begin the registration process.

Step 2: Enter Personal Information

Fill in the Account section (Step 1 of 2):

First Name and Last Name

Enter your full name as it should appear in your profile:

First Name: John
Last Name: Smith

Your name will be visible to team members and in notifications.

Email Address

Enter your work email address:

Email: john.smith@acme.com
  • Use your company email for business accounts
  • This email will receive important notifications
  • You'll use this email to log in

Password

Create a strong password:

Password: ••••••••••••

Password requirements:

  • Minimum 8 characters
  • Mix of letters, numbers, and symbols recommended
  • Avoid common passwords

Phone Number

Select your country code and enter your phone number:

Country: +1 (US/Canada)
Phone: 555-123-4567

Auto-formatting: Your phone number is automatically formatted as you type based on your selected country code!

Step 3: Set Up Your Organization

Fill in the Organization section (Step 2 of 2):

Company Name

Enter your company or organization name:

Company Name: Acme Inc.
  • 2-100 characters allowed
  • Used as your workspace name
  • Can be changed later in settings

Company Type

Select the type that best describes your organization:

Currency

Select your default currency for displaying costs:

  • AED (د.إ) - UAE Dirham
  • SAR (﷼) - Saudi Riyal

  • KWD (د.ك) - Kuwaiti Dinar
  • BHD (د.ب) - Bahraini Dinar

All costs from your integrations will be converted and displayed in your selected currency.

Timezone

Select your local timezone for accurate reporting:

Click Create Account to complete registration.

After account creation, you'll be directed to select a subscription plan:

Free Trial

All plans include a 14-day free trial with full access to all features. No credit card required to start!

Selecting a Plan

  1. Review the plan comparison
  2. Click Select on your preferred plan
  3. Complete the Stripe checkout (for paid plans)
  4. Your organization will be created automatically

After Account Creation

Once your account is set up:

  1. Dashboard - View your cost overview
  2. Integrations - Connect your first provider
  3. Settings - Customize your preferences
  4. Team - Invite team members

Troubleshooting

Common Issues

"Invalid phone number" error

  • Ensure you've selected the correct country code
  • Enter only the local number (without country code)
  • Check the number follows your country's format

"Email already registered"

  • Use the login page if you already have an account
  • Try the "Forgot Password" link to recover access

Form not submitting

  • Ensure all required fields are filled
  • Check password meets minimum requirements
  • Verify email format is correct
