Team Members

Manage your organization's team members and roles

Invite team members and manage their access to your CloudAct organization.

Team Members

Accessing Team Members

Click Team & Access under Manage in the sidebar.

Team Overview

The Team Members page shows:

Inviting Team Members

Sending Invites

  1. Click Invite Member
  2. Enter their email address
  3. Select their role (Admin or Member)
  4. Click Send Invite

Invitees receive an email with a link to join your organization.

Invite Limits

Based on your plan:

Pending Invites

View and manage pending invitations:

  • Resend - Send reminder email
  • Revoke - Cancel the invitation

Managing Members

Changing Roles

  1. Click the role dropdown next to a member
  2. Select new role
  3. Confirm change

You cannot change the owner's role. Transfer ownership first.

Removing Members

  1. Click the remove icon next to a member
  2. Confirm removal
  3. Member loses access immediately

Transferring Ownership

To transfer ownership:

  1. Ensure new owner is already a member
  2. Go to member list
  3. Click Transfer Ownership next to the member
  4. Confirm transfer

Ownership transfer is permanent. The previous owner becomes an Admin.

Seat Management

Understanding Seats

  • Each member occupies one seat
  • Pending invites count as occupied seats
  • Removing members frees seats

Best Practices

  1. Use appropriate roles - Give minimum necessary access
  2. Regular audits - Review members quarterly
  3. Remove promptly - Remove departing employees immediately
  4. Multiple admins - Have at least 2 admins for redundancy

Troubleshooting

Invite Not Received

  • Check spam/junk folder
  • Verify email address spelling
  • Resend invitation
  • Ask recipient to add cloudact.ai to contacts

Cannot Remove Member

  • Cannot remove yourself
  • Cannot remove the owner (transfer ownership first)
  • Check your role permissions
